Do Humans Want to Prevent a 6th Mass Extinction Event?

As humans evolved from our ape ancestors, our brains evolved to create technology, yet over the 275 years since the industrial revolution, we have detrimentally destroyed our home. Plundering the natural world for resources, wiping out 75% of the buffalo population in the 1900s, and massacring the Amazon rain forest, what other words can we use to describe humans killing off of the planet, we are most likely causing 6th planetary mass extinction event.
I talk to mushrooms and mushrooms talk to me. Don't believe a word I say, because I could be making all of us up. I am a severely traumatized person. I am the mushroom king and I listen to the mushrooms. There is a possibility of a mass extinction going on right now. That would mean that 75% of life on earth would be extinct. This includes 75% of the plant kingdom, 75% of the animal kingdom, and 75% of fungal kingdom all going extinct. Human behavior is causing all of this.
The last time there was a mass extinction was 66 million years ago, when the dinosaurs, went extinct, and the fungi somehow survived that extinction event.
There isn't some meteor crashing down to cause this extinction event, it is us, the homo sapiens causing this potential once in a 66 million year event.
Let’s just say that hypothetically the mushrooms are in charge of the planet. The fungal kingdom has been here for around 1 billion years, and humans have been around 250,000 years, and it's safe to say that mycelium is the connective tissue that weaves together the entire planet.
If hypothetically the mushrooms are in charge, there is a dilemma. If you’re the mushrooms, and 75% of all life on earth is going to go extinct because of one species (us), what would you do to protect the planet? Would you want 75% of the natural world to go extinct, or would you want to humans to go extinct?
Again, let’s say that the mushrooms are in charge. For the sake of the millions of organisms, included in the fungal kingdom, plant kingdom, and animal kingdom, how would you protect the planet from these so-called intelligent human beings?
If 75% of the eukaryotes, which are organisms whose cells of a nucleus and include animals, plants, fungi, seaweeds, and many other unicellular organisms, are going to go extinct, what would you do?
The Mushroom King is biased towards that human experience, because I am a human whose nervous system was hijacked by fungi, I would say that the mushrooms should kill us all off. I would say that we should collectively make the humans go extinct. Take us all out, myself included, it’s not worth it.
