Hello, I'm From the Republic of Los Angeles

Hi, I'm Ryan, and I am a comedian who is a translator for the mushrooms. I listen to mushrooms and they talk to me. Mushrooms tell stories me that the humans are acting crazy and that we have to change over the next ten years to help prevent a 6th planetary mass extinction.

I am offering solutions on the website for how to prevent 75% all life on earth going extinct. One idea is to create the Republic of Los Angeles, a sovereign nation in what is called the state of California.

Los Angeles is it's own country. Except it's trapped in the state of California, which is trapped in the country of the United States. Los Angeles has the 14th largest economy, and it's trapped inside a state and a country.

Imagine if Los Angeles was it's own country, with its own currency, own healthcare system, and own military. It could serve the people of Los Angeles, rather than support the nation of the United States.

We will replace our Mayor with a President, our City Council with a Parliament, and get rid of the federal court system. We will give people free healthcare, dissolving the military to pay for it. And return the land back to the people, and return the people back to the land.

We could build our own rail system, paying for it with our own currency system, with money created by our own Los Angeles Federal reserve.

The Dodgers would leave Major League Baseball, the Clippers and Lakers would dissolve, and the Kings would leave the National Hockey League. We would have our own regional sports leagues, specific to The Republic of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles the country would live in harmony with nature rather than be a part of the federal government that is destroying the globe with it's one trillion dollar a year military budget. We will leave the government, which operates more as an arms dealer, selling weapons to fund warfare around the world.

Los Angeles will have its own legal system, one that is governed by the natural world, where the land, water, air, and fire has animacy and is honored with rights.

The planet won't survive if we don't act, now. The mushrooms have shared that the Los Angeles will need to be evacuated in ten years if we don't make drastic changes to our local environment. It is time for us to organize our own Los Angeles-based democracy, outside of the oppressive United States, the earth is asking us to make drastic changes, immediately.
