Hi everyone!
Over the years , I’ve gotten into mushrooms, written a new book, and returned to performing comedy! Leaving the world of corporate social media, General Assembly teaching, and Influencer Economy work.
After working in social media for Disney, gaming at Machinima, and with tech startups, I now use my skills to further my mission: uniting the world with laughter. My life is divided into two life spans: Before Mushrooms (BM), and After Mushrooms (AM).
Since we last spoke I started L.A. Mushrooms, a decentralized mushroom comedy organization for live comedy shows, video series, and animated episodes.

It’s safe to say that I would be dead without mushrooms, they are my teacher, mentor, and elder sibling - guiding me throughout the twists and turns of daily life.

What is the Mushroom King? The forest anointed (me) Ryan Williams as The Mushroom King. The cordyceps mushrooms have hijacked my nervous system, and they are forcing me to work on a one-hour comedy show about mushrooms.

Is this random? No, in this episode, we discuss how the kingdom of fungi are critical for the health of established ecosystems, and that less than 5% of a fungal species have been identified. Fungi are important players in soil health, alongside animals, bacteria, algae, and other microbes.
